Join our Procurement and Supply Chain Management team within the commercial division at Connect Plus Services! We are looking for a dedicated professional to support reporting, analysis, and overall supply chain operations. This role involves building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners, utilising digital systems like Jaggaer for detailed monthly performance analysis, and developing collaborative action plans for improvement. You’ll contribute to financial and compliance reporting, trend analysis, and the development of supply chain processes while supporting CPS’s commitment to health, safety, wellbeing, and sustainability, fostering a high-performance culture and strategic relationship management.

 

Accountabilities: 

  • Undertake comprehensive market analysis (e.g., supply chain mapping, RFIs, PQQs, supplier visits/audits, behavioural assessments) to align with procurement objectives focused on capacity, capability, competence, and value alignment.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the supply chain meets agreed objectives.
  • Coordinate with scoring teams to achieve 100% scorecard completion and scoring integrity.
  • Update the supply chain performance dashboard and share monthly updates for CPS.
  • Ensure the supply chain understands relevant scoring mechanisms.
  • Conduct supply chain performance data analysis to gain insight and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Meet and coordinate with the strategic supply chain as per the agreed schedule.
  • Collaborate efficiently with suppliers to create a mutually beneficial working environment.
  • Gather 360 feedback from the supply chain for continuous improvement and to highlight areas for CPS to enhance performance.
  • Encourage transparent, collaborative performance reviews, forward planning, innovation, and value.
  • Drive collaborative efforts with the supply chain to reduce risks and waste.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the integration of sustainable procurement practices.
  • Assist in implementing the SRM plan across CPS and Highways.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on Zero Harm.
  • Conduct Modern Slavery Audits.
  • Implement and develop processes for supply chain management, including material purchasing.
  • Ensure all duties comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide necessary interface information between customers, the supply chain, and other departments in a timely manner.
  • Uphold the Connect Plus Services Values.

 

What You Will Bring:

The following qualities/experience are essential:

  • Ability to analyse information, identify trends, and highlight potential points of concern.
  • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business over time to support its evolving nature.
  • Experience in supply chain performance management.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Power BI is an additional bonus.
  • Strong networking skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.

Location:

This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we therefore expect a minimum of 60% of your time to be spent at a CPS offices.
