About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Street Lighting Operative to join our team and assist in the efficient delivery of services on the M25 DBFO Network. This role involves a wide range of street lighting maintenance, testing, and installation tasks, supporting one of Europe’s busiest and most dynamic highways.

What You’ll Be Doing
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking routine and non-routine street lighting activities on the network as required.
- Providing accurate written and verbal reports and maintaining records as necessary.
- Using mobile communication/data devices to input and manage data for business records and reporting purposes.
- Attending training courses as needed to maintain competencies.
- Upholding Connect Plus Services (CPS) values and contributing to a culture focused on Zero Harm.
- Supporting the delivery of the business’s sustainability goals.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- CSCS Operative Card.
- ECS Card to relevant competency.
- NHSS 8 Competency Training.
- IPAF 1b (MEWPS).
- 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
Experience:
- A proven, well-rounded background in street lighting or electrical work.
- A solid understanding of the street lighting industry.

Location
This role is designed to maximise collaboration on the project, with a minimum expectation of spending 60% of your time at CPS offices.
