About the Role

This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to play a key role in a landmark infrastructure project with over 15 years of work ahead. As part of a long-term, high-profile initiative, you’ll experience the excitement of hands-on engineering, the opportunity to grow and develop your career, and the stability that comes from contributing to a major programme with a strong future.

You’ll join a collaborative team committed to innovation and excellence, where your voice matters and your skills are valued. Whether you’re improving asset strategies, supporting inspections, or shaping long-term maintenance plans, every day brings a chance to make a meaningful impact on the M25 — one of the UK’s most critical transport networks.

This is an ideal role for someone who’s looking for variety, purpose, and progression, all within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the delivery of essential infrastructure across the M25 network. You’ll lead with purpose, driving safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes that matter — not just for the project, but for the millions who rely on this network every day.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Champion safety through visible leadership, upholding the principles of Making Safety Personal, and promoting a strong safety culture across all teams.

  • Oversee project performance, reviewing programmes and budgets monthly with Project Managers to identify risks, resolve challenges, and maintain delivery excellence.

  • Manage budgets collaboratively, working with your Senior Quantity Surveyor to track costs, manage changes, and align with project goals and financial expectations.

  • Engage and influence stakeholders, building strong working relationships across internal teams and client representatives to ensure alignment and accountability.

  • Lead resource planning, ensuring responsibilities under CDM regulations are met throughout each project lifecycle within your portfolio.

  • Ensure compliance and transparency, preparing accurate monthly reports and presenting key insights to clients and senior leadership when required.

This is a role where you can truly lead with impact — bringing your expertise to the table while being supported to grow, collaborate, and deliver with pride.

Who We’re Looking For – Key Requirements

We’re looking for a collaborative and capable professional who brings both experience and passion to delivering high-impact projects. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy leading with purpose, embracing complexity, and working as part of a supportive team.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience delivering projects of a similar scale and complexity

  • Strong leadership skills, including team management in a matrix environment

  • Confidence managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting

  • A sound understanding of health and safety standards within the industry

  • A degree in engineering, construction management or a related field — or equivalent industry experience

  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM PMQ or equivalent)

  • Working knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts
