Role Purpose:
As the Lead of Network Operations, you will spearhead the implementation and leadership of a newly established Operations Hub for the M25, seamlessly integrating road space management, planning functions, and control room operations.
This pivotal role will establish a centralised planning and scheduling hub, leveraging real-time data and analytics to optimise traffic flow, resource allocation, and road space management.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, including diversion managers, traffic management specialists, and optimisation experts, ensuring operational efficiency and an enhanced road user experience.

Experience / Criteria Required:
Qualifications/ skills/ experience:
· Engineering or technical background with significant experience in managing large-scale operational functions. · Proven experience in logistics , planning and project controls best practices. · Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams. · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with Framework Contractors, third parties, and clients · Strong business acumen with experience in interpreting and influencing operational contracts. · Proficiency in data analysis and real-time operational decision-making ; an understanding of traffic management systems and technologies is desirable · Experience working in highways or a DBFO/PFI environment is highly desirable.

Location:
This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we offer flexible working where you will typically be working from your base CPS office, Leatherhead, Dartford or South Mimms up to three days per week and two days from home.
