Join our Senior Leadership Team at Connect Plus Services (CPS) and play a key role in shaping the future of one of the UK’s most critical infrastructure projects—the M25. As the leader of our Business Planning & Performance (BP&P) team, you will drive strategic direction, digital capability improvements, and risk management to ensure the seamless delivery of CPS’s long-term goals. This high-impact role will see you guiding key business functions, fostering client relationships, and steering CPS towards success as we prepare for contract handback. Role Purpose:
This role is to provide leadership and management as a core member of the Connect Plus Services (CPS) Senior Leadership Team.
The Business Planning and Performance (BP&P) team is responsible for leading the definition and management of the CPS strategy and priorities, enhancement and delivery of information management and digital capability, ensuring risk management, and setting the budgets and commercial plans, and mapping and understanding the complexities of our hand-back responsibilities. BP&P is responsible for the customer strategy and assuring all key stakeholder relationships.
- To set the overarching direction for CPS and drive digital capability improvements to ensure successful delivery of CPS contract handback obligations
- Guide the Performance Quality & Improvement team to effectively achieve designated business objectives.
- Oversee establishment of new CPS business Enterprise Risk Management to ensure business continuity is assured.
- Maintain the relevance of the Customer and Business Strategies to address the evolving demands of the network, our clients (National Highways and Connect Plus), JV Parent Companies and our road users.
- Prioritise client management and relationships, aiming to extract maximum value and alignment with the Parent Companies within the JV Partnership
- Stand up the new BP&P team by March 2025

INTERNAL: CPS: Peers on the CPS SLT as well as ‘Heads of’ / SMT across CPS.
EXTERNAL: Allocated responsibility for relationships with leaders in our clients Connect Plus (CP) and National Highways (NH) plus Parent Company & JV Partner Board members

Location:
This is a hybrid role designed to fully maximize team collaboration on the project, we therefore expect a minimum of 60% of your time to be spent at a CPS offices.
